These cookies are so quick to make and so buttery and delicious. We present to you one of our favorite holiday classics!
Yield: 30 Cookies
Time: 25 Minutes
Ingredients
2/3 cup melted butter
1 1/2 cup rolled oats
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
3 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 f (180 c)
Lightly oil or butter a baking sheet
In large bowl combine oats, brown and white sugar, flour and salt
Slowly pour in melted butter and combine
Lightly beat egg and add to mixture along with vanilla extract
Mix until combined well
Using an ice cream scoop, drop batter onto greased baking sheet leaving 2 inches between
Bake for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown on edges and center is bubbling
Let rest for 2-3 minutes then transfer to baking rack to cool
